For the first game I can understand the ending. I wish they gave us more choice, but at least it was building up to that. That wasn't the case for before the storm. It was a more or less self contained story with a fitting ending, then they thew in that scene from the first game dispite the fact that it had no connection to the prequel.
As we see in Life is Strange, Justin refers to Chloe in a very vague way as Rachel's "punk friend" and as though he only knows her second-hand through Rachel. Yet the Before the Storm prequel game puts Justin in the same Blackwell student photograph as Chloe (standing directly in front of her), furthermore implying they are in the same classes Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is, in its own right, a very good game. But it can’t avoid the fact that it’s a Life Is Strange game, specifically a prequel to the original. And in the original, one of its central characters is dead. Ok awesome! so im 2 hours into the first episode, and talking to my friend she told me she has the first game so we can play it together! so im going back to my previous question: will i need the save file of the first life is strange to use on before the storm like telltale games do? i mean i don't think so since BtS is a prequel, but with the time travel thing going on it may make sense. thanks
